Srinagar, March 8 -- Continuing the crackdown against drug trafficking, Police in Srinagar has booked two infamous drug peddlers under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (PIT-NDPS Act).The notorious drug peddlers namely Hazim Bashir Bazaz @ Zahid son of Bashir Ahmad Bazaz resident of Housing Colony Chanapora Srinagar and Momin Mehraj Bazaz son of Mehraj-ud-Din Bazaz resident of Syedpora Eidgah have been booked under PIT-NDPS Act after obtaining the formal detention orders from Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir on the basis of dossiers prepared by Srinagar police against them.Consequently, these drug peddlers were detained and subsequently lodged in District Jail of Udhampur.Pertinent to men...
