Srinagar, June 14 -- As part of ongoing Drug Free Jammu and Kashmir initiative, district administration Srinagar hosted a series of drug de-addiction awareness programmes in Shahr-e-Khaas areas and rural pockets of the district to sensitize people about the harmful effects of drug abuse.The awareness programmes, held on the directions of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, aimed to sensitize communities about the dangers of drug addiction and highlight Government schemes and benefits available to those affected.These programmes were organized at Marriage Halls of Munawarabad, Khanka-e-Mohalla and Khawaja Bazaar.
