Ganderbal, Jan 22, Jan. 23 -- In a significant step aimed at safeguarding the fragile environment of the world-famous health resort Sonamarg, the Sonamarg Development Authority has restricted the operation of snow mobile bikes to two designated locations, officials said on Thursday. Chief Executive Officer of the Sonamarg Development Authority Bilal Mukhtar Bhat said that snowmobile bikes will now be permitted to operate only near the Environment Park and at Gadh Qal.
