Srinagar, April 27 -- Police on Sunday said that it have detained social media handlers who have spread false information regarding Ajas Encounter in North Kashmir's Bandipora district. Police said that the Bandipora police had received information through multiple sources that some persons have circulated false and fabricated narratives through their Social Media handles regarding an encounter at Kulnar Bazipora Ajas on 24-04-2025.In this connection Bandipora Police have registered a criminal Case against all those Social Media account holders who have circulated these false stories on social media platforms.
