Srinagar , Jan 23, Jan. 24 -- Fresh snowfall accompanied by intermittent rain disrupted normal life in Srinagar on Thursday, leading to waterlogging in several low-lying areas of the city, officials and local residents said. The water accumulation was reported after snowfall in the city and higher reaches, followed by rain and partial snowmelt, which put pressure on the drainage system in vulnerable localities.According to ground reports, waterlogging was witnessed in parts of Lal chowk , Polo view , TRC , Batamaloo and Dalgate causing inconvenience to commuters and pedestrians.
