Srinagar, Dec. 27 -- Fresh snowfall in the higher reaches of Kashmir has infused new hope into the Valley's tourism sector after a challenging year marked by security issues and adverse weather conditions. Several upper areas, including popular tourist destinations such as Gulmarg and Sonamarg, witnessed moderate to heavy snowfall, bringing an end to a prolonged dry spell.
