Srinagar, Feb 20, Feb. 21 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Friday placed Er. Imtiaz Ahmad, In-charge Executive Engineer (Civil) of Srinagar Municipal Corporation, under suspension pending enquiry into his conduct. According to Government Order No. 62-PW(R&B) of 2026 dated Feb 20, the officer has been suspended with immediate effect under Rule 31 of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956.During the suspension period, he shall remain attached with the Office of the Chief Engineer, Public Works (R&B), Zone North Kashmir, and will be entitled to suspension allowance as admissible under rules.The government has appointed Er.
