Srinagar, Dec. 1 -- Despite biting cold and Chillai Kalan like conditions gripping the Kashmir Valley, Srinagar's popular Sunday Market witnessed a massive turnout as thousands of shoppers poured in, defying freezing temperatures to purchase essentials and winter goods. From early morning, locals from different parts of the Valley were seen flocking to the open-air bazaar, braving icy winds and dropping mercury to shop for clothes, blankets, footwear, utensils and other household items at comparatively cheaper rates.
