Srinagar, Jan. 26 -- The security arrangements across Jammu and Kashmir have been beefed up to ensure smooth and peaceful conduct of Republic Day functions in the Union Territory.Although the militancy in Kashmir has significantly decreased in recent years, security agencies are leaving nothing to chance and have made detailed arrangements for peaceful Republic Day celebrations.Tight security measures have been put in place around Maulana Azad Stadium, Jammu where the main R-Day function will be held.
