Srinagar, Feb. 12 -- The Legislative Assembly's Committee on Rules on Tuesday gave its go-ahead to the Speaker to carry out bare minimum modifications in the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly.The House panel comprises legislators of the ruling NC- led alliance and BJP met today morning in the Legislative Assembly complex, Jammu to discuss amendments/ modifications in the Rules governing functioning of the House.Sources said there was unanimity among members against major changes in the rules and converged on making bare minimum modifications in the Rules.A legislator, who is part of the committee, said all panel members agreed upon replacing Governor, State, both Houses of legislature a...
