Srinagar, Sept. 21 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi's is going to visit Jammu and Kashmir next week against the backdrop of one of the worst natural calamities we have suffered in recent memory. The flash floods caused by cloudbursts in some instances have not only claimed precious lives but have also left behind a trail of devastation that will take years to rebuild. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah voiced his hope that the Prime Minister's presence in the Union territory is not be limited to a symbolic tour, but should translate into a comprehensive relief and rehabilitation package for the people of the state.
