Srinagar, July 10 -- Police have attached a residential property worth Rs 75 lakh under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act in Srinagar.The property, located in Athwajan, Srinagar, was in the possession of two notorious drug peddlers-Irfan Ahmad Ganie and Aijaz Ahmad Ganie, sons of Manzoor Ahmad Ganie, a police spokesperson said in a statement. The statement said both individuals are involved in FIR No. 05/2025 and FIR No. 136/2024 under relevant sections of the NDPS Act."Investigations have revealed that the property, registered in their father's name, was acquired through proceeds from illicit drug trafficking.
