Srinagar, Feb. 7 -- In Islam, the heart (qalb) holds a central place in a person's spiritual and moral state. The Qur'an and Sunnah emphasize that true faith and righteousness stem from a purified heart. Allah says: "But only he (Will prosper) who brings to Allah a sound heart" (Qur'an 26:89), highlighting that a pure heart is key to success in the Hereafter. The prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon him) also said: "Verily, in the body, there is a piece of flesh which, if it is sound, the whole body is sound; and if it is corrupt, the whole body is corrupt.
