Pulwama, Dec 18, Dec. 18 -- In a major boost to the fight against terrorism, Police in Pulwama have secured conviction in FIR No. 289/2020 of Police Station Pulwama, a terror-related case, after the accused confessed his involvement before the Hon'ble Court through Video Conferencing. The case was registered on 01/12/2020, under Sections 16, 18, 19 & 20 of the ULA(P) Act, Section 307 IPC and Sections 7/27 Arms Act. The convicted accused has been identified as Zamir Sadiq Lone son of Mohd Sadiq Lone resident of Tiken Batpora, who was arrested on 01/11/2021.
