Srinagar, April 2 -- Police in Budgam organized Cyber Awareness Programme (Cyber Jaagrookta Diwas) at various Police establishments across the district with the aim to educate the public about cyber threats and safety measures. Police officers on the occasion discussed various cyber threats, including hacking techniques, phishing, identity theft and emphasized preventive measures to protect one's digital presence. The participants were also cautioned to keep their social media accounts secure and safe and also be aware while chatting with unknown people on any social media platform.
