Srinagar, Dec. 13 -- Police on Friday launched a massive Valley-wide enforcement drive targeting vehicles plying without mandatory transfer of ownership after sale-purchase. The drive follows comes in the wake of last month's car bomb blast near Red Fort in Delhi in which 13 persons were killed.Police across all major districts -Anantnag, Ganderbal, Shopian, Pulwama, Kulgam, Sopore and Awantipora, intensified checking at key junctions, naka points and busy road stretches.The crackdown focused on vehicles being operated without updated ownership records, vehicles bearing outside-UT registration numbers, and those running without valid documents.Police said the move aims to plug loopholes that enable misuse of unregistered or untransferred ...
