Srinagar, July 27 -- Police in Budgam busted gang of inter-state carjackers by arresting 04 persons involved in the commission of crime.

Acting on specific information, Police Station Khansahib Budgam busted a gang of inter-state carjackers/thieves and arrested 04 persons involved in the sale and purchase of stolen vehicles. The modus operandi of the arrested gang has been to smuggle the stolen vehicles from other states with fake and forged documents and selling the same to the locals at quite cheaper rates.

Accordingly a case vide FIR No. 112/2022 under relevant sections of the law has been registered at Police Station Khansahib and investigation initiated.
