Srinagar, Nov. 13 -- J&K Police has attached the house of jailed former president of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association Mian Abdul Qayoom. The DGP Nalin Prabhat ordered the attachment of the property of Mian Qayoom.Mian Qayoom was arrested by J&K Police on June 25, 2024 in the killing of advocate Babar Qadri on September 22, 2020.Qayoom has since then been lodged in jail.According to Police, the attachment of Mian Qayoom s property in Srinagar follows an investigation in a 2009 FIR registered at Police Station Shaheed Gunj under sections 120, 120-B, 121, and 153-A of the RPC and sections 13, 38, and 39 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).The case pertains to a 2009 seminar which was organised by separatist lea...
