Srinagar, Nov. 22 -- In a decisive action against the drug menace, Police in Budgam have attached immovable property worth approximately Rs.45 lakhs belonging to a notorious drug peddler in Beerwah. The attached property, a single-storey residential house at Sadipora Beerwah belongs to Tanveer Ahmad Ganie son of Mohd Yousuf Ganie, who is involved in FIR Nos. 02/2022, 13/2023 and 65/2024 under Sections 8/20 of the NDPS Act, registered at Police Station Beerwah.Investigation revealed that the accused had acquired the said property through proceeds of illegal narcotics trafficking.
