Srinagar, Dec. 21 -- In its sustained efforts to eliminate the menace of drugs from the society and dismantle the infrastructure supporting illegal narcotics trade, Police in Srinagar have attached a double-storey residential house on 8 marlas of land situated at Wantpora Eidgah, belonging to notorious drug peddler namely Basit Bilal Dar son of Bilal Ahmad Dar resident of Wantpora, Eidgah, Srinagar, valued at approximately Rs.1 Crore. The accused person is involved in case FIR No. 59/2024 under Sections 8/21 NDPS Act of PS Nowhatta and FIR No. 114/2025 under Sections 8/22-29 of NDPS Act of Police Station Safakadal.The attachment was carried out under the relevant provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.Duri...
