Srinagar, April 16 -- Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police in Pulwama have arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession.A police party of Police Station Litter at a checkpoint established at SIDCO Lassipora Crossing near Shah Hotel intercepted a suspicious person who on seeing the Police Party, tried to flee from the spot but was apprehended tactfully by alert police party. During search, heroine like contraband substance weighing 17.50 grams was recovered from his possession.
