Srinagar, Oct. 19 -- Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, police have arrested 03 drug peddlers in Kulgam & Awantipora and recovered contraband substance from their possession. In Kulgam, A police party from Police Station Yaripora at a checkpoint established at Kanjikullah intercepted 02 persons, riding a motorcycle bearing registration number JK13J-7576. During search, 06 grams of Heroin like contraband substance and Cash of Rs 15720/- (believed to be proceeds of narcotics) was recovered from their possession.
