Feb 4, Feb. 5 -- As part of its ongoing drive against drug trafficking, Police in Anantnag have arrested three drug peddlers in separate incidents and recovered significant quantities of contraband substances. A Police party from Police Station Bijbehara during naka checking near Tulkhan crossing apprehended a drug peddler identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Wagay son of Ali Mohammad Wagay resident of Naid Mohalla, Bijbehara. During search, charas-like substance weighing approximately 500 grams was recovered from his possession.In another incident, during naka checking at Kerikadal, a Police party of PS Bijbehara apprehended a drug peddler identified as Qaiser Jeelani Bhat son of Abdul Kabir Bhat resident of Sallar Kullar.
