Srinagar, Feb. 7 -- Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, police have arrested 03 drug peddlers in Anantnag and Shopian and recovered contraband substances from their possession. In Anantnag, Police Station Mattan received a specific information through reliable sources that one person namely Farooq Ahmad Kumar son of Mohd Subhan Kumar resident of Khul Chohar Mattan has indulged in peddling of narcotic substances and accordingly has hoarded a large quantity of narcotic substance in his residential house.
