Srinagar, Sept. 25 -- Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, J&K Police have arrested 02 drug peddlers in Shopian & Awantipora and recovered contraband substances from their possession. In Shopian, a police party of Police Station Heerpora at a checkpoint established at Chotipora Sedow, intercepted a suspicious person identified as Irshad Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Ahmad Bhat resident of Hanjipora Kulgam. During search, 652 grams of charas like substance was recovered from his possession and he was subsequently arrested.
