Srinagar, Sept. 17 -- Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, police have arrested 02 drug peddlers in Handwara & Pulwama and recovered contraband substance from their possession. In Handwara, a police party from Police Post Magam at a checkpoint established at Magam chowk, intercepted a suspicious person. During search, 04 grams of heroin-like contraband substance was recovered from his possession. He has been identified as Amir Ayoub Khan, son of Mohd Ayoub Khan, resident of Marathgam, Handwara and was subsequently arrested.
