Srinagar, Aug. 12 -- In a significant action against the drug menace, Police have arrested 02 drug peddlers in Budgam & Pulwama and recovered contraband substances from their possession.In Budgam, a police team from Police Post Hardpanzoo, at a checkpoint established at Dasan village intercepted and apprehended a motorcyclist bearing Registration No. JK04B-7830. During search, police team recovered three sticks of charas-like substance, wrapped in corn straw, weighing approximately 60 grams from his possession. He has been identified as Shahnawaz Ahmad Shah, son of Ghulam Mohammad Shah, resident of Hardu-Latina. The motorcycle used in the crime was also seized.
