Srinagar, May 12 -- In continuation of its ongoing drive against illegal mining, Police in Awantipora have arrested 05 persons & seized 03 vehicles & 01 JCB used in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals.Acting tough against the persons involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals, a Police party of Police Station Awantipora headed by SHO Police Station Awantipora DySP (P) Atif Zahoor under the supervision of SDPO Awantipora seized 03 tippers bearing registration numbers JK015-1405, JK13B-0811 & JK04-7922 and 01 JCB without registration numbers and arrested 05 persons.
