Srinagar, Jan. 16 -- Parents of Jammu and Kashmir students studying in Iran have urged the state and central governments to ensure the immediate and safe evacuation of their children amid rising uncertainty in the region. Around 2,000 students from J&K are currently enrolled in universities across Iran. The parents gathered outside the Divisional Commissioner's office in Srinagar today and submitted a memorandum requesting government intervention.
