Srinagar, Feb 4, Feb. 5 -- The government on Wednesday said no proposal is currently under consideration to establish additional migrant transit camps in Kashmir, even as 68 percent of the sanctioned accommodation units have been completed. Sharing details in the Assembly, the government informed that housing for Kashmiri migrant employees appointed under the Prime Minister's Package is being developed as permanent residential complexes, not temporary camps, under the PMDP-2015.A total of 6,000 transit accommodation units have been sanctioned across 20 locations in the Valley to meet the residential needs of migrant employees.
