Srinagar, Jan 19, Jan. 20 -- The Meteorological Department Kashmir has issued a weather advisory warning of two Western Disturbances likely to affect Jammu and Kashmir and adjoining areas in quick succession between January 22 and January 28, 2026. According to the advisory communicated to Divisional Commissioner Jammu and Kashmir by the Meteorological Centre, Srinagar, the first Western Disturbance, expected to impact the region from January 22 to January 24 with peak activity on January 23, is likely to be intense.The second system is forecast to affect the region from the night of January 26 to the forenoon of January 28, with peak activity on January 27, and is expected to be of moderate intensity.Under the influence of these systems,...
