Srinagar, Aug. 5 -- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha will hand over appointment letters to 250 families of terror victims on August 5 (Tuesday) at SKICC Srinagar, in a major step toward recognizing and supporting those who have suffered from terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.The families selected are from across North, Central, and South Kashmir, and include those who lost loved ones in attacks carried out by Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Hizbul Mujahideen (HM), and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror outfits over the past three decades.These victims-many of whom were civilians and primary earners-faced brutal violence, including mutilation and public executions, aimed at spreading fear.
