Srinagar, Sept. 12 -- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday expressed their gratitude to the Railway Ministry for launching a dedicated parcel train service from Budgam in Kashmir Valley to New Delhi for the transportation of apples. The announcement of dedicated parcel train service from Budgam was announced by Minister for Railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw."With the Jammu-Srinagar line operational, the Kashmir valley has better connectivity. Railways is introducing a daily time-tabled parcel train from Budgam in Kashmir to Adarsh Nagar station in Delhi starting 13th September 2025.
