Kargil, Feb 16, Feb. 18 -- In a proud achievement for Ladakh, Sonam Chospal from the farflung village of Sapi in Kargil district secured a Bronze Medal in the Male Team Under-30 Poomsae category at the 2nd Mt. Everest GCS International Open Taekwondo Poomsae Tournament held at Kathmandu, Nepal on 16th February. Sonam also competed in the Individual Under-30 Poomsae event but narrowly missed a podium finish.
