Srinagar, June 14, June 14 -- The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has welcomed the announcement made by the Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor, Shri Manoj Sinha, regarding the reopening of eight tourist destinations in the Kashmir Valley. The Chamber termed the move as a vital and timely intervention to support the revival of the tourism sector, which has faced a sharp downturn following the recent tragic attack in the Pahalgam area. According to the government's decision, tourist attractions including Betab Valley, Verinag, Kokernag, and Achabal Gardens in Anantnag district, along with public parks in the Pahalgam market area, will now be open to visitors.
