Srinagar, Dec. 4 -- Kashmir shivered through another freezing night, with minimum temperatures plunging 3 to 6 degrees below the freezing point across the Valley. A MeT official said Srinagar recorded a low of -4.4degC during the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday, which was 3.2 degrees below normal. Shopian in south Kashmir remained the coldest place in the Valley with the night temperature settling at -5.9degC, followed by Konibal Pampore at -5.0degC and Pahalgam at -4.6degC. Kokernag recorded a low of-1.2degC while Qazigund recorded -3.6degC.
