Srinagar, Feb. 28 -- The upper reaches and plains including some parts of Srinagar on Thursday received snowfall while most plains were lashed by moderate to heavy rains.A MeT official said the upper reaches of Kashmir including Gulmarg, Sonamarg received light to moderate snowfall.Besides Gulmarg, snowfall was also reported from higher reaches of Kupwara, Shopian, Razdan top in Bandipora, Jawahar Tunnel, Pir Panjal Range of mountains in south Kashmir adding to the winter chill in these areas.Gurez has received 4 to 5 feet of fresh snowfall while the Tulail region has received six inches.The plain areas of the Kupwara including Muqamishahwali and Drugmulla received snowfall today.Srinagar and its adjoining areas received light snowfall in...
