Srinagar, July 13 -- In a significant push for environmental awareness, healthy living, and sustainable tourism, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kargil, Mr. Imteeaz Kacho, flagged off a Bicycle Awareness Expedition from the iconic Iqbal Bridge in Kargil today.Led by renowned environmentalist and cyclist Mohd Imtiyaz Nazrana, President of the Ladakh Educational and Development Society, the expedition will cover a scenic circuit-Kargil, Soth, Batalik, Chiktan, and back to Kargil-as part of the third phase of his ongoing campaign "Save Environment, Save Life, Boost Tourism."Nazrana, known for his environmental activism, earlier completed a bicycle expedition from Jammu to Ladakh in 2023.
