Srinagar, Oct. 1 -- From Sep 30, intelligence-driven joint operations conducted by the Indian Army and Assam Rifles under Spear Corps, in coordination with Manipur Police, led to significant counter-insurgency successes in the hill and valley districts of Tengnoupal, Imphal East, and Chandel in Manipur. The operations resulted in the apprehension of four active militant cadres and the recovery of eight weapons, along with narcotics and other war-like materials.
