Srinagar, Jan. 2 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education has formally discarded the old syllabus that was in vogue for failure and re-appear students, bringing an end to further examination chances under the previous scheme of studies. According to officials, failure and re-appear candidates of Classes 10, 11 and 12 under the old syllabus had already been provided multiple opportunities to clear their examinations.
