Srinagar, Jan 15, Jan. 16 -- The Meteorological Centre Srinagar on Thursday forecast light rain and snow at scattered places across Jammu and Kashmir from January 16. According to the MeT, the weather will remain generally cloudy, with light snow in higher reaches and isolated rainfall over the next few days. From January 19-20, light rain and snow are expected at scattered to fairly widespread places, with moderate snowfall possible in the higher reaches of north and central Kashmir.From January 22-24, most parts of J&K are likely to experience light to moderate rain and snow, with Chenab Valley, Udhampur, Reasi, and south Kashmir possibly receiving moderate to heavy precipitation.
