Srinagar, July 23 -- In a significant step aimed to put curbs on the use of Single Use Plastic (SUP) in the division, teams of J&K Pollution Control Committee (J&KPCC) Kashmir conducted a series of raids on godowns of banned polythenes in Kashmir. These raids were conducted as part of the activities carried out under "World Environment Day, 2025,' and 'Beat Plastic Pollution Globally' themes under the overall guidance and directions of Regional Director JKPCC Kashmir and under the chairmanship of District Officer (DO) Srinagar, PCC Kashmir.
