Srinagar, Nov. 28 -- The Jammu and Kashmir government has blacklisted LMES IT LLP and its principal stakeholder, Maharaj Krishan Wali, barring them from participating in any recruitment-related tenders across the Union Territory. The decision follows a detailed probe into irregularities in the 2020 Fire & Emergency Services recruitment process. The investigation began in 2022 with a committee scrutinizing allegations in the selection of Firemen and Firemen Drivers. After the committee submitted its report in February 2024, the matter was referred to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for a thorough inquiry.
