Jammu Jan 25, Jan. 26 -- After remaining closed for three consecutive days due to heavy snowfall at Nachlana near Ramsoo area of Ramban district, the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway has finally been reopened for vehicular traffic, bringing much-needed relief to commuters and transporters. The strategic 270-kilometer highway, which serves as the lifeline between the Kashmir Valley and the rest of the country, was rendered impassable following intense snowfall and slippery road conditions in the Nachnalla area.
