Srinagar, Dec. 26 -- Under its Industry Connect initiative, the Department of Physics, Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), organized an educational tour on Tuesday for students of M.Sc. Physics and FYUGP Physics to the Pahalgam Hydel Power Project. Operated by the Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Corporation (JKPDC), the project harnesses the waters of the Lidder River and consists of three generating units, each with a capacity of 1.5 MW, totaling 4.5 MW.
