Srinagar, April 19 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a severe weather advisory for Jammu and Kashmir, forecasting widespread rain and snowfall from April 18 to April 20, with peak intensity expected between Friday night and late Saturday.An active western disturbance is set to bring moderate to heavy rain and snow, especially over the Pir Panjal Range and the middle and higher reaches of the Kashmir Valley.
