Srinagar, Dec. 6 -- IGP Kashmir Shri V. K. Birdi, IPS, chaired a review meeting on the ongoing monitoring of under-trial cases with district SSsP, Law Officers and Pairvi Officers of Kashmir Zone at PCR Kashmir today. The meeting was attended by all range DIsG, district SSsP, Law Officers, Public Prosecutors and Pairvi Officers. IGP Kashmir opened the session by outlining the agenda. District SSsP then gave brief presentations on their progress in case disposal and follow-up, especially in ensuring convictions in under-trial and under-investigation cases.
