Srinagar, June 28 -- The House Committee constituted to review the implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in Jammu & Kashmir convened a meeting today at the Legislative Assembly Complex, Srinagar.Chaired by Hasnain Masoodi, the meeting was attended by Committee Members Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami, Ali Mohammad Dar, Altaf Ahmad Wani, Aijaz Ahmad Jan, Rajiv Jasrotia, Ranbir Singh Pathania, Tanveer Sadiq, Javaid Riyaz (Bedar), Muzaffar Iqbal Khan, Rafiq Ahmad Naik, Arjun Singh Raju, and Iftikar Ahmad.Masoodi emphasized the mission's goal of providing piped tap water (Har Ghar Nal Se Jal) to every rural household, noting that at launch in 2019, only 16.71% of rural homes had tap water access.
