Srinagar, June 6 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Srinagar-Jammu-Delhi rail link on Friday at the Katra, thus connecting the Valley with the rail network of the country. The launch marks a major milestone in the country's rail connectivity and aims at integrating Kashmir with the national railway grid.The Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project, which will now be fully operational, ensures all-weather connectivity.During his visit, PM Modi will inaugurate the Chenab Bridge, the world's highest railway arch bridge, situated 359 metres above the Chenab River.
