Srinagar, Dec. 24 -- The Health and Medical Education Department has referred 480 posts of Medical Officers to the Jammu and Kashmir Public Services Commission for direct recruitment. According to an official letter issued from the Civil Secretariat, the referral has been made under the Jammu and Kashmir Health and Family Welfare (Gazetted) Service Rules notified vide SRO 325 of 2013.The requisition form for filling up the posts has been forwarded to JKPSC for initiating the recruitment process.The breakup of the 480 Medical Officer posts includes 192 posts under Open Merit, 38 under Scheduled Caste, 48 each under Scheduled Tribe One, Scheduled Tribe Two and Backward Area categories, 39 posts under Other Backward Classes, 48 under Economi...
